Some of the most interesting designs I've seen are the ones that veer away from the norm. They create unique design through exploring all possibilities. One interesting kind of building that I believe that hasn't fully been explored are tree houses.
Since green architecture is gaining popularity, I think that building a house or structure around a tree instead of cutting it down is probably one of the best solution architects can contribute to the environment.
When I visited the Baumraum website I found numerous designs of tree houses. These modern sleek tree houses are designed by German Architect Andreas Wenning. Despite the challenges each tree house presents, the architect still managed to create exciting and unique designs.
Although tree houses most probably won't replace the majority of homes, the design solutions made by the architect has made a great contribution how Architects should approach a problem. His design solution will prove to be invaluable in the near future, especially since more and more clients are opting to have their homes be green and environmentally friendly. These astonishing tree houses are truly inspiring.
