Small Apartment Transformer

The common problem of urban centers is the scarcity of space. Most people live in tiny apartments due to the expensive cost. Gary Chang An Architect from Hong Kong has designed his apartment in such a way that will revolutionize how we can maximize small spaces.

Personally I think his out of the box thinking in designing a solution to the constraints of his small apartment may have a huge contribution in developing countries. Most of the population in these countries can barely afford their small homes. The concept behind his design can be adapted to the designs of the low cost housing in these countries.

His concept will definitely increase the comfort and standard of living of this low cost housing without drastically increasing the prices of these homes. Since the cost of the project is still well beyond the reach of majority of the masses. I guess the next challenge would be to look for cheaper alternatives in the materials, fixtures and mechanism used in his design.
